Trade my PO DeepBlack for a new speedie sapphire?

Am I crazy! Can’t stop feeling like I want the new speedie. The bracelet looks fab. Just about to buy a new Tudor FXD and that fits the tool diver on a strap slot. Am I crazy to do a direct swap for a speedie for my PO?

Do you think you are going to miss having a watch with a date and water resistance, that is self winding?

And yes, Speedie guys are a bit crazy IMO, so you are on your way😉

I’m a Speedy fan, so for me that’s a yes. But a NO to sapphire. However, something to be said about a GMT function. The Aqua Terra world timer is very high on my list. Not sure what the value of your Seamaster is.

I'd say that these are completely different watches and in this case always worth thinking if not possible to have em all?

Neither watches are hard to find at retail, and while the speedy retains value better than the deep black, its still cheaper than grey market prices for the deep black.. I'd ask for some cash on top in that trade.

If it's a budget issue, I'd recommend waiting to purchase the Speedy and owning both. Benefit there is giving time for the 3861 pre-owns to start popping up.

If you like the Tudor and want Tudor/Speedy, I would sell the PO in a private sale and then buy the Speedy. Otherwise you are losing a ton of money for nothing more than convenience.

Why are you buying the Tudor when you want a Speedy?

Two totally different watches.
But nope, not crazy. People who donn't want a Speedy are the crazy ones.
If I were you, I would get the Speedy and the FXD.
Best of both worlds as long as you won't miss the GMT complication.

Traded mine to my watchmaker and got a 2254.50 instead. Crazy happy with my Omega accumulation that has no Speedmaster or other chronograph. 😀

The PO is an excellent combination of properties: Date, waterproof, diver bezel, GMT and ceramic. I would keep it if it were mine.
