Hard to tell as it is difficult to distuinguish the colour. From time to time it does change colour from grey to sparkling white. Hope this helps 😀

·Yeah, it really changes depending on the light source, reflections, etc. Here are two pics showing the extremes of what you will see. Artificial light at the Omega boutique at the airport in Japan when I bought it, vs how it normally looks in bright sunlight. You will see everything in between, which is part of the charm of this dial.

·I noted on another thread that Rising Sun prices have increased hugely in the last month or two. I just looked on C24 and now there are only 5 watches under £6,500 (and 2 of them are pretty close to that figure). Only a couple of months ago there were plenty at c.£5,000. The question I have is, are we seeing the beginning of another LE stampede driving prices up to unattainable levels (along the lines of the Panda)?
The Olympics is now being seen as a success based on the human spirit prevailing over the backdrop of Covid and this must have had a serious impact on demand and prices.

·n most other parts of the world you'll struggle to get your hands on one (inc B&P) for less than £7k.

I haven’t followed prices since I got it, but at the time I believe there were only three listed on C24 in the U.S. Interestingly enough, when I stopped by the OB to swap the bracelet out with a 3861, the sales associate had mentioned someone had recently inquired about getting a Rising Sun through the OB.

To some extent, but I think it's well worth the tradeoff. I find the new bracelet more comfortable in addition to just looking significantly better. When wearing my Sub, I use the Glidelock multiple times a day and having that feature is something I do miss when wearing my other watches.

·The average price on C24 has gone over £7k for the first time this week. This 'average' takes into consideration list prices and actual sale prices but the weightings for each are unclear.
That being said, I am trying to source one in Canada after seeing everyones photos... 👍

·C24 averages are certainly hit or miss, 1957 Trilogy Set shows for me as $27K USD, $5.5K over the cheapest listed... that being said, seems to me the market average is ~£6.6k ($9K USD) right now for the Rising Sun before import & duties.
That being said, I am trying to source one in Canada after seeing everyones photos... 👍

·I think c.£6.6k before taxes/duties is about right tbh. If you're in the UK you are doing well to get hold of one under £8k at the moment.
