To Relume Or Not?

Good morning all. Just picked up this 1996 Speedmaster Pro ref. 3590.50.00. The watch is in very good condition, but the hour, minute and second hand on the dial are showing some corrosion and degradation of the tritium lume. So my options appear to be:
1. Leave the hands in their current condition;
2. Relume to get the closest possible match to the hour markers; or
3. Remove the hands, put them away for safekeeping, and replace them with superluminova hands.
I’d like to preserve the vintage character and value of the watch, but I’d be less than honest if I said that the present appearance of the hands doesn’t bother me a bit. So, fellow OF members, what say you?

If it was me and I was bothered by it, i'd replace the hands but make sure to keep the old ones..

If it's a keeper for you, I'd probably go with #2. If you think you might sell it on later, I'd go with #3

#3 without question to keep options open. I have changed my mind even about watches I thought I was going to keep.

I would go #1 because I'm always trying to keep my watches as original as they come in.
