·Hi,
Been reading here for quite a while and I am impressed by the communal knowledge that this forum has. I have procured a Constellation from the 60s for as a gift for my father who is turning 60 this year. Since it lacked service history I am having it serviced at an Omega certified watchmaker. So far so good, the movement needed a normal service etc. Now to my question, is it possible to polish the case in a way that maintains the character of it. Should I do it or leave it as it is? Guess there i no harm in polishing the crystal which the watchmaker recommended?
Best regards,
