·I think custom titles should be given and not self awarded, there's no humour in that and IMHO it screams of the ' Me Culture '. The humour here is one of the key reasons it's a great place to hang out, let's not lose that
No need to remove the feature. Instead, put the instructions on how to self-title in a "sticky" and make it a forum requirement. No one will ever find it again. 😉
