·This thread has made me want (need?) to hunt down a calypsomatic cased diver. The Technos and Titus are well above budget, but maybe some of the lesser known brands are obtainable.
is there a compendium of brands/models that used this case? Accurist, Monvis, Hoga, Hosam, Pryngeps, Titus, Technos, Silver, UG, Voit…
please add to this list
Caravelle Sea Hunter 665-1 w/ETA movement. If you're lucky, you can find one in decent shape for between 1-1.5k, but they're gaining value fast!

·Do you see what’s special about this beautiful glossy lacquer with gilt print dial? - No “T Swiss Made T” designation. This is an early “Swiss Made“ only dial, meaning a Radium example, not often seen in the Ref. 7085. These dials were same as some 2nd Generation 5913 in very early 7085 production runs. Titus’s production of the two overlapped and they also likely used left over parts before using newer parts, creating these early "transitional" models. - Rare & early 1960’s “Transitional” Titus Calypsomatic Ref 7085 “Big Crown” (3rd execution) - ETA 2472.

·I turn to you experts to clear up my doubts about this Titus Calypsomatic that I am considering purchasing.
My doubts are:
-What reference is this? The number on the case back has disappeared (due to use?)
-Are the Mercedes hour hand and crown NOT signed correct?
-Is the bezel with the dot instead of the triangle correct?
-The dial has some spots perhaps due to humidity. The writing is not very legible but suggests a gilt dial.
-Was it relumed?
-The date display has red/blue numbers
Ultimately I would like your overall assessment.
Without reference I do not understand the correctness of the watch.
The request, as often happens in Italy, is very high although with a good margin of negotiability: 2500 Euros ($2650)

·It's quite annoying that the hands are positioned to block the logo. Nevertheless, it appears to be a small logo dial, but it's a bit hard to tell. Also a circular lume pip on the bezel and a big crown (?). And a Mercedes hand. I'd say that it has parts from several models. And a damaged dial that I find unappealing.

·I finally caught a 1st generation 5913 after a long search. It’s in good condition and the case appears to be unpolished. Dial is very nice for its age. It would need a new crystal and the parmentier crown. I am not if the bezel is correct because it is not a reverse countdown? Overall, a great addition to my collection.
