·I bought this watch from Goldsmiths in Victoria on the 11th March 2020, wore it two days in a row before the first lock down, and then put it away in the safe.
I previously listed it for sale, had a change of heart and wore it for about two weeks in late 2021.
As nice as it is, I think I'm trying to force something that's just not going to happen - this is never going to trump other things that live in my watch boxes, so I'm offering it up for sale again, in hope of freeing up a little cash.
Announced at Basel 2018, and available from the September of the same year, this is a Unitas/ETA 6498-1 equipped, 42mm, stainless steel reimagining of a 1943 Tissot antimagnetique, fitted with a 20/18mm leather strap with butterfly deployant.
Specifications from Tissot:
Balazs wrote a really good hands on review for Fratello here, which is well worth checking out.
As you can see from the photos, this watch is, for all intents and purposes in "as new" condition, perhaps excluding the marks to the leather where the strap has been through the pin/bar of the deployant.
Now discontinued, this watch retailed at £855 when I bought it in 2020.
Comes with all boxes/papers/stamped and dated Tissot warranty card from Goldsmiths.
I paid £570 (thanks to a discount voucher from my credit card company) and would quite like that back, but can see there are watches for sale in the EU for less - so dropping to £450 (which I think makes this the cheapest in Europe) - payment by bank transfer or (transfer)WISE in GBP.
Like me, the watch is located in London, so face-to-face may be possible.
Otherwise, shipping to be agreed with buyer.
Any questions, please ask and I'll do my best to answer.
Thanks
Chris
