Thanks, I can clarify.

Both behaviour happens once the watch starts running again. The minute hand, as soon as the second round goes returns to the behaviour of going to the next number at 30 seconds. I tried this on all four watches.

Same as yourself, I feel the hackable movement should be able to fix this.
Well if that happens I agree with you. That ain’t right!

I have one and for the price it’s a great looking casual beater.

For those here thinking of buying... my peeve is I had 4 (3 gifts) and not one has the seconds and minutes line up... worse when seconds hit 30 the minute hand already is at the next number.

I’m in correspondence with Timex so will see if they at least trade me one decent QA’d one.

Mine doesn’t line up either - in fact, every one I’ve seen to date doesn’t line up.

I received mine today, it's a bit small for me. Was hoping the 38mm wouldn't be as I like the look of the watch and the story behind it. Unfortunately, looks like I'm going to be returning it. Thanks to all for the heads up on it being available, would not have been able to figure out if I like it or not without your help. 😀

You should sell it to a forum member who couldn't find one - sending it back might take it off the market for a long while.

Why is this flying off the shelves? Genuinely curious. Does look cool.

Every time I see your avatar it freaks me out for a second.

I spoke to Timex support. After sending them a video of the 30 second mark pushing the minutes hand forward, the Timex Engineers agreed the watches were out of spec. Maybe because I bought many watches recently (I also got the Marlins), they let me exchange 2 of them.

Happy to report the new arrivals line up properly and yes they are very fun to wear.

Would love to pick up one of these as a "first watch" gift for my youngest son but seem to be sold out in Canada -- except for the resellers marking them 2x. Sigh. Great release from Timex, and about fair value for a Pepsi (**ducks**).

@scapa ... One concern ... These bracelets are tricky. I would have some concern giving this limited edition watch to someone younger than 12.

Glad to hear this! I'll have to check the ones I just bought.

And the U.K. I ordered mine 2 hours ago. Unsure whether I will keep it or give to my son (or just buy another at 160 quid). Looking fwd to seeing it however and comparing to my Pepsi.

When they first appeared. I bought two and gave one to the kid. He loves it.

It’s that time of year. I’ll likely give it to him (he has my seiko mini turtle already).

he doesn’t wear that either.....hopefully he will at some point but it doesn’t help that he won’t wear anything like that to school for fear of getting pinched!

Well, I picked it up. It’s absolutely brilliant. Love the size and the styling. For £159 it’s terrific. Second hand doesn’t quite line up with the markers but for this money it’s no issue.

I let him try it first. He’s 13 and has small wrists so the bracelet has to completely wrap round twice. So he doesn’t want it and keeps the seiko. Means I get it and I’ve ordered the other one today also!

I guess I'm going to have to dig out my Q and check the seconds hand?

The one pic I took right away when I bought it shows it's not too bad on mine.

Ok, question for the “smarter” members of the forum. Mine has the day of the week in 2 languages, how do I keep it set in English? It changes day at midnight to Spanish, then at 3am flips back to English. Not the end of the world, but odd? I am guessing its user error but can’t figure it out.
