I had my watches out today to update insurance, and liked the look of these three side by side – all related, but like many family members, completely different. The Sapphire Sandwich is new; the Moonphase is almost twenty years old; and the Flightmaster is forty eight years old, but there is a strong thread running them all. I am now thinking about photographing my other watches in ‘family’ groupings, just for fun. Does anyone else do pointless stuff like this? If you do, please post some.
Um, ok, but the effects on your photos look like a "late 60's-70's advertisement'. If real, good job, Pal!...but might want to tone down the filters. If not...no thanks.
Thanks for the feedback. I am sort of pleased that they look dated but any effects are largely accidental, and a product of correcting for poor lighting. I am in awe of some of the photography displayed on OF, but am happy just to doddle along. Keep well.
My photography skills won’t awe anyone... but, here are my three amigos, or as I call them, triplets. Seiko 6309-704xs Rolex Submariners
