Thoughts on two ebay finds

This one will probably go over my price range but wanted thoughts on if it all was legit as he claims. Dial almost looks too good not to be a refinish.

I kind of like the looks of this one as well but the hands look weird and like they don't go with the watch. This is also the first speedking I've found with the E/T bezel so that made me curious.

I agree with you on the first one. Look at the spacing on "Speedking" particularly spacing between the "d" and "k"... It will be curious how far up it goes..
The second one has no bracelet and I particularly do not like the disclosure: " This watch will currently wind/set properly, and run when wound. We do not guarantee the timekeeping on this watch."

Be patient in your search..

I messaged the guy on the first one and specifically asked if the dial was original and untouched and he replied back it was all original. I see what you're talking about on the d/k touching. Hadn't noticed that before.

I've looked at a lot from the second seller and I think he puts that similar disclaimer in most of his ads so that didn't really bother me. I was more concerned with the hands and the engine turned bezel.

Second seller, that watch has so much visible crud... a service may be necessary in the not too distant future. Hands don't look right for this model.. Engine turn bezel can be easily found on a model this period..

Dial looks good to me. The kerning seems wider on "speed" than on "king," which is correct. Also, the D and K aren't really that close---it's a mark on the crystal, maybe.

Any opinions on this one? The submariner style hands are throwing me off and making me wonder if the dial/hands are original.
