Thoughts on this Seamaster Dial?

This is for sale locally, a friend just sent it to me. Seller is asking $800 and says it was just serviced.

Is this a redial? My instinct says it likely is, but I can't find any tells that are obvious to me. I think it looks like it's had a heavy relume application at least. I messaged the seller to ask for if he had the reference so I could do some more research, but figured I'd post here in the meantime.



On another note, the friend that sent this to me just said his wife sent it to him. Anyone else have their spouse helping with / enabling their vintage watch habit?

Thank you, I wasn't considering buying. Mostly just testing my redial radar and also want to be able to warn my buddy off if it if he is considering it – with some expert opinion to back it up.
