Sorry to continue to bother you guys but I don't want to make a mistake. Pros and cons on this one? Thanks again for all the help.
Like the bezel, DON, hands could be replacements, not sure about the plots, lume may be washed. Bracelet appears period and the movement appears good. Case looks nice and not overly polished. Dunno, doesn't look bad if I can get it at a reasonable price.
What reference is it? Does the movement number match the expected range for the reference? What end links come with the bracelet. Dial does appear washed, which devalues it considerably. Do you like it? Does it make you smile when you look down at it?
Keep on bothering us. We like these posts much better than the "I just bought this, how did I do?" threads that some folks post.
Not sure about the reference but I believe it to be a 105.012.67 if it matches the bracelet. Now, I have to ask about the ELs since they are not shown. The watch is being sold by vintagewatches.miami
Nicko, you gotta know what you're buying. What do you know about the 105.012-67? What does speedmaster101 say about that reference?
Seems to me that you've got a big wad of cash burning a hole in your pocket, and you're desperate to get a pre moon speedy. Problem is that you really haven't done much research yourself and are relying on the good people here to stop you making a very expensive mistake. Maybe you should learn a bit more yourself before posting here every five minutes asking for help. It's not a 105.012 67 BTW.
Any idea what you are actually looking for? 861, 321, pre or post? There is no such thing as a105.012-67 and all who replied her know that, even if they don't tell it. Focus. Read.

Nicko. Just wait. Some watches are being sold for too much money. Some speedys are being sold at reasonable prices. Trust me. HAve patience. Because you will pay too much for a watch. Then youll hate the watch. Once you find the right one. The wait will be worth it and youll love it that much more.
I echo this sentiment. I remember having a distinct fear of missing out (FOMO) that drove me to the edge on buying some examples that were, in hindsight, only a placeholder until I found what I REALLY wanted. Specifically, I actually feel like there are chances for you to view decent examples of vintage Speedmasters almost on a monthly basis. This is a pretty high rate of potential success, considering there are some references that only come up 1-2 times a year (I'm looking at you Exotic Dial Lip Chronograph). Try to zone in on what you want and understand what a reasonable price it. Then you won't have any hesitation on that trigger finger. Good luck!
I agree with the sentiments above. Be patient as there are quite a few Pre-Moons that come up for sale. Decide on what reference you want first and then wait for an example you will be happy with.
