No idea.... rare birds have been located with luck and perseverance. I remember a missing Longines skin diver bezel was found here a while ago

The best path would be to find a donor watch with a bad dial which would tack another $8k to the total price tag. The latest price is $36.5k from Phillips so whoever won got a great deal. Looking at previous prices, it looks like this model has skyrocketed in value. I saw a listing in 2015 for $4k and now it's at $30k+? The price elasticity made me uncomfortable otherwise, I would have bid higher.

I would not use Phillips as reference for values 🍿

The best path would be to find a donor watch with a bad dial .
Given the rarity of the watch, no one can possibly plan on that.
Either by some miracle he/she already has a wreck which can serve as a donor - and which perhaps was bought cheaply many years ago. Or they have someone on hand who can make a whole new bezel.
But that's not given to everybody.

Or this is a newbie enthusiast with a lot of spare cash.
