What do people think of this 30T2? Seller asking 510 euro including shipping. It is 35mm. Original dial and crown?
Thankyou

Looks nice, and the dial, I would say, is both uncommon and desirable. Crown may be a later replacement, but that's not a big problem.

I think that the second hand may also be a replacement, as typically the point would end directly on the second track. However, if the case is correct, the back is clean, and the movement is also in good condition, I would say that it would be tempting at around that price, as the minor issues could be resolved.

Interesting. So the blue seconds should have been shorter and its not a 30T2?

Not necessarily. Welcome to vintage Omega 😀

I linked the Omega Vintage Database record to show that your watch is case reference CK 2320. The OVD is often incomplete--not taking into account that Omega may have used more than one movement per case reference over time. Also, movement nomenclature changed around 1950. For example, cal. 30 T2 SC PC became cal. 280. The watch in question appears to be using the older nomenclature with the caliber number engraved on the plate under the balance wheel.

These 1940s watches are getting harder and harder to find in good condition. The case is in good condition and the movement looks "clean," however the movement will need to be evaluated by a watchmaker. Speaking from a collector's perspective, the movement looks good. The seconds hand is at least period correct. The condition of the crown, dial, and seconds hand is not ideal, but I think the price is fair.

Second hand far from minute track I think is incorrect..
Probably one of the last 30T2 - SC or not- till the new ref 26x-28x.
Probably from 1948.
Correct price for this rarity.
