Serial number is correct for a 1966. Seller represents that the watch is fully original except for the band/buckle which are Hirsch. Dial looks clean and original to me. Not sure whether the case has been polished, but the lugs look pretty sharp to me on photos 4, 5 and 6 below. I am requesting better photos from all angles. 561 movement is correct and appears clean. Case has a little gunk here and there, but I think that it will clean up nicely. So, is my assessment reasonable or have I lost my objectivity on this one? Reasonable price range for this reference in this condition? Have at it resident OF Constellation experts.

What’s not to like? The case looks indeed very sharp. I just find that the crown presents a lot more wear than the case. Does that mean it was replaced or it’s just «normal »?

The watch looks all correct to me. Only flaws I can find are scratching on the lower lugs either from a botched strap replacement or from one of those Fix-o-Flex bracelets.

Any of our resident Constellation experts have an opinion on what a reasonable purchase price would be for this example? I would say that the condition is very good and the Hirsch strap and buckle are a bonus.

I'm no expert but I would value this watch between eur 1300 and 1800 (depending on location, dealer or private sale, service history). The big japanese dealers often have these around the eur 1300/1500ish. I must say there has been a price increase the last couple of years. They are getting more expensive.

That looks immaculate (and honest) to my untrained eye.

Although I've been a vintage watch collector for years, I've only recently become fascinated by the older Connies and have been reading up as much as I possibly can.
