T's are a hit or miss, from the lume pips the dial looks legit to me, it also matches the good state of the case

Maybe it's a replacement dial along with that replacement crown, but doesn't really matter much, it's a good vintage dial

I'm not in a state where I make very logical decisions lately; Overall it's a nice watch with no issues, it'd be extremely shocking if that dial is a redial

Buying a watch from UK is always a wasteful experience for me, sellers usually spend upwards of 400 pounds on a watch, thinking it'll in turn return 800 pounds etc. - this watch is like that too - I'd be happier buying it raw for around 1100 pounds

I have a one of a kind C-Case that was serviced by a very reputable service center in UK, seller had a 400+ pound receipt, yet the hands they replaced are not original ... just thinking about it triggered me

One small suggestion is asking for this pack:

They spent all that money only to replace the original crown and putting a dent in the collectability

This is a very pristine example and it's been on my Watchlist for quite some time as well, since it's a rose gold it makes the watch very rare, hard to find them in this condition

But at the same time it's just a collectors watch in my opinion, it's too expensive to wear, it's too expensive even to collect, from a collectors perspective it's better to passively buy watches of this nature from eBay for 1/3 of the price

@mmurran
Being pink gold cap, this watch is definitely uncommon ( I think there may be only one in the c-case thread) and it makes for a handsome watch.
The dial is a bit busy for my liking but whilst the heavy printing, the straight Ns, the lack of Ts and the non-existent MOY alignment are all signs to be cautious, given that c-case dials are generally all over the place, it could well be all-correct.

Personally, I don't hold with a watch being too good or too expensive to wear - watches are meant to be worn - pink gold cap c-cases aren't common but neither are they that precious that you should leave them at home.

Being picky, I'm not sure this watch is pristine - the edge facets look a little too wide and would have originally been mirror polished (and should shine like the edge of the bezel)
That is not to say it is in poor condition - far from it, as I said, it's a handsome watch

If a c-case is what you're after, £1750 (not 2950) for a very clean, uncommon watch, recently serviced by Omega, is not that far out of the ballpark from a dealer.

The service receipt has the movt. serial number (30,284,282) and it should have the movt calibre - this would be good enough for me (if it says cal 564)

Hope that helps

Excuse my ignorance but am I looking at a bag of original parts removed during the service process and returned along with the watch?

If so, I guess some solace that you have them and could potentially restore the collectability ?

Thanks for the insight @Peemacgee .

Agree with you that watches should be worn and my ultimate purchase will not purely be an investment piece rather something I'll regularly wear, hold on to for life and eventually pass on.
