Top side very polished, more like melted.

 

The 'ATIC' of automatic looks off, particularly obvious in 'IC'

 

Better pictures of the dial available?

Do you want to buy it? How about the asking price?

 

The pictures are bad, but the watch looks legit. It is overpolished as @X350 XJR mentioned already.

 

Nice dial, poor case, I'd pass unless it was cheap and I had an excellent condition reserve case on standby

 

Dial looks fine to me. That's just distortion from the photo/crystal.

Maybe thinking of buying $1500. Really pushing my limit.

 

that’s too much for a gold cap dogleg pie-pan and it’s way, way too much for a polished one.
Have a little patience and save your $1,500 for a really nice example.
