Yes, with great help from you Dennis, I did a couple of them. I made them in brass and another member gold plated it. Here's the story:

Maybe @yako54 can add some information on his nickel plated version....
When I was looking for a proper crown for my black dialled Conquest ref. 9020 I stumpled upon @Pahawi 's thread. Wow, exactly what I was looking for! Just some plating to be applied to make it fit to the solid steel case of the Conquest.
When I got the crown I asked my watchmaker for possibilities with regards to plating and she proposed to do electro-nickel plating. According to Goldbergers first book, Longines already did nickel plating to some of their crowns back in the days. I assume that it might also has been common praxis in the watch industry for crowns made of brass at some point of time?
The plating worked very well and after some adjustments to the tube of the watch case the crown fitted very nicely on the Conquest. I am really happy with the result 😀. Many thanks again to @Pahawi !👍
At a glance Pahawis crowns are incredibly detailed and even in direct comparison you barely see any difference. The nickel plating seems to be the right process as it can be easily done, it matches the colour of the case and also seems to be quite resistent to wear.
Here are the pics, black dialled Conquest with Pahawis crown attched.
