Thoughts on Captain

Any quick thoughts on this watch? Apart from it badly scratched and overpriced? Case looks more or less unpolished, hands have slight tarnishing, crown and plexi (loupe is uncommon?) looks ok.

Pretty nice example, although not as nice as yours 😁. I think you're assessment is correct.

Case looks quite sharp, the caseback is quite damaged on one side. I'm not sure if the crystal is original to the watch.

Crown seems correct but very worn. Should not be that hard to replace though.

Dials, hands and movement all look pretty good to me.

Thank you @Geezer. I was quite intrigued by the plexi as I have not seen the date loupe before on a Captain. It seems to fit nicely and I thought perhaps it could be original? But again I have not seen it elsewhere.
