Thoughts on 1947 30T2?

Hi everyone,

Would really value opinions/advice on this piece. Claims to be an Omega from 1947 with original, untouched dial. It's listed for 1,862 USD.

Really love the gorgeous dial and the history of the piece. But I'm very inexperienced (more an enthusiast than a collector at this stage). Are there any red flags here that I might be missing? I haven't the knowledge to spot a refurbished dial or replaced parts. The seller has only a few reviews but they seem fine.

I obviously don't mind paying a bit of a premium (I don't expect to find a bargain given my inexperience) but don't want to be completely ripped off obviously. That being said, I'd be buying to wear and enjoy rather than resale (but I'm not in a rush to purchase).

Other info:
Reference: 13322
Year: 1947
Material: Stainless Steel
Dimentions (WxHxT): 34x40x9,5mm
Caliber: In House Omega 30T2 PC AM

Thanks for your thoughts and advice! I got some really great advice last time (vindicated!) directing me against buying from a disreputable seller, so value the thoughts on this forum.

I'll leave a review of the watch to others, but I'm always a bit skittish when I see heavily processed/filtered/manipulated pictures masking what appears to be water damage.

Ask for the same number of pix outside in the sun, unmanipulated and close-up.

You'd be paying more than a "bit" of a premium for that one. Even one in excellent condition, which this one isn't, a 34mm Dennison cased watch is not a $1800+ watch. This example not even half that.

I'm concerned about the proximity of the lug holes to the ends of the lugs. It looks like the lugs have been so dramatically polished, that the holes may lose integrity.

Hard to tell from the pictures but I'm not impressed by the dial. The price is absolutely a joke. This is a max 450$ piece. And I wouldn't pay that price for it.

Even if mint I wouldn't pay that price. Contract case, average dial. $300 if you really wanted it

Thanks everyone for all the guidance here! This is an easy pass, really appreciate all the thoughts. I can't stress that enough.. I might present a lowball bid but they're probably unlikely to bite!
