This old broke guy...

Hello everyone. A guy showed me this old Omega (see photos).
I'd like to know 3 things.
1. Is it original? I know these pics are trash, but still what do you think?
2. He says it runs for a while and then stops. What could be the problem? Is it fixable? $$$?
3. How much would you pay for this? Right now, with the knowledge i have (little) i wouldn't pay more than 40$.

What size is it? It looks like a ladies size so value, especially it’s it’s not running is minimal.

Don’t want to sound too sanctimonious but you clearly know this 'old, broke guy', and your post suggests that he knows you well enough to think that you might be interested in a watch.

But, whether you need the watch, or want it, it may be a neighbourly thing to buy it to give him some money or just give him the money and let him keep the watch.

Just saying.....

It’s a ladies watch that’s worth $80-100 as is

And serviced for same price as a mans watch so let’s say $ 250 max without parts

Then it’s worth $180-200.

So really your not making money on this watch but you would do it in a heartbeat to make your wife/girlfriend happy.
