A customer at my leather shop wanted me to replicate her favorite belt.

I warned her that mine would be of much better quality.

Here is her “genuine leather” belt.




And the new belt, cut from a double shoulder of cowhide.




And here… a belt that I made four years ago. Keeps getting better…





And don’t confuse this for a sales promotion. I have enough work. But choose carefully when buying leather goods.

I dunno, the logo on the original looks awful familiar.........can't remember if it was you or Dave that had an early prototype logo like that!

probably "corrected grain" leather not full thickness leather.
