Not a fake, it'd have to remotely resemble a Rolex to qualify.

Just a total ripoff.

Wait a sec..... I recognize that case..... Longines and several other brands used that in the late 60's and early 70's, but how did they get one unmarked to add the bogus Rolex stampings?

My 2nd favorite watch dealer is from Santiago, Chile. He's got a deep hook onto the entire vintage watch subculture of Santiago. I'm able to buy watches @ 50% to 60% off regular wholesale because of most North Americans, Asians and Europeans steer clear of Latin American not for no good reason.

But, Lima and Santiago are different. Argentina is a joke and Uruguay and Brasil aren't far behind. I'm sorry to make such a negative broad generalization but it's the trooooooof and the truth sets me free and saves me lots of pesos.

Missed the AD. But, counterfeit and sold for 3.5K?? 😵‍💫
I've seen Patek Philippe pocket-watch frankens made in the Ukraine sell for significantly more sadly 🙁
