Pretty sure this is the IWC on my father's wrist in the late 60s or maybe 70s.

I love seeing photos like this. Watches handed down, used by the next generation etc. Maybe try and re-create the photo? something fun to do.

So another update in 5 years?

Seriously though, that Speedmaster looks brand new for a 50 year old watch. Congrats!

Didn't even take 5 months. A new bracelet is easier to find than a new dial.

Looking good. Personally I would have held onto the old dial as a memento.

it ended up as a beautiful Speedy! Congrats for the result and for the patience to find the right missing parts. It fully deserves this care!
