Thinking about adding gold.

Not really a gold guy, but I will say having tried one of those RG YM on, they are very nice! Hard to call it subtle really, but it's much less in your face with the gold than say a yellow gold Day Date is...
Yeah thankfully that strap grounds it back into reality. Can't imagine it with something else.

After much hesitation, I've recently added YG Tresor.

I was hardly pushed by the salesman @ the OB to get the meteorite GSOTM but there´s something that makes it look weird IMO. I ended up ordering the standard GSOTM. By the way, I got an awesome deal with our dear friend kringkily, thanks for that.ç
The ´57 speedy is a very nice looking watch and the rose gold version on a strap looks great.

I´ve always been a huge fan of the breguet marine, so maybe it´s time to get something like this

I´m a little afraid it turns to be a very delicate watch. I know Omega and Rolex are tough workhorses that can take a beating.
The two tone Sub has been disqualified by the wife, she says it´s a very familiar watch and she´s right.

The tresor seems like a very good option as well, it has a nice vintage look and it´s not too blingy

Hi @Prieto9000

So [emoji1] You've decided on the GSoTM ! That's an outstanding watch Sir with the beautiful ceramic buckle , Speedmaster in red on the Platinum dial !
You had mentioned gold but if you had omitted that detail i would still choose the original GSoTM for You ! e12b72e8a370c814f1d9d869642898a0.jpg The GSOtM is a perfect match for your Wife too [emoji4]

I got the deployment Ti/ceramic buckle, not the pin buckle on it!!

Oooh that is actually very nice. I didn't even know it existed in gold.

For me, a solid gold vintage screw-down crown Kontiki on a brown basket weave strap hits that spot between dressy and sporty. Or does it need to be new/and or an Omega? I've found the solid gold Omega's to be too costly for me, even vintage ones.

🥰

EDIT: I just saw that you already made a choice. Clearly budget is less of a consideration for you ;-) Beautiful watch!
