Is the bezel a repro? Once again a listing that talks about originality of parts except where it is the main subject of interest.

The bezel is a repro, as the side profile is too narrow compared to vintage DON bezels, and its patina is consistent with bezels that have been chemically aged.

To have those bezels reproduced AND ADVERTISED AS AFTERMARKET (in capital letters to avoid any confusion) would actually be a good thing. It's insane to pay more than 200 $ for a bezel, even if it is more than 50 years old just for the sake it has a dot over and not close to ninety. This is beyond ridicule.

Modern, Omega bezels are available for a couple hundred quid. If an individual doesn't need a period correct bezel or isn't willing to pay for one, surely a genuine, modern bezel is the answer, not a knock off one that looks similar to a vintage one.
