Makes me think of the one Hodinkee sold a couple of months ago, the dial had similar plots... @Fost NOOOOOOO
Colour balance is well off in the photographs…there’s a yellow / green cast Suspect the bezel is actually more blue than it appears Why on earth do people not colour correct, in Sales Listings ??
Come on gentlemen’s you are all in the sleeping - can no one spot the “Shurley some msishtake “ mistake in this assembled watch?
symmetrical clutch bridge should be assymetrical methinks. but i don't really know when they switched over (and don't have MWO here)...
The colour of the movement part with the serial number on it is a completely different colour to the rest of the movement. I.e. They didn't leave the factory together.
it is always good to out a Speedmaster here...... jumped 50% since posted here..... kind regards. achim
Ooof, clearly a replaced movement with serial bridge swap there. This also comes back to fact that although a dial may be brown, or a bezel may be blue, it should still only be the attractive ones that command a premium. Blue that may be, but it still looks like it's just washed up on the shore (and not in a good way!).
Serial number bridge, regulator shape v symmetrical coupling clutch bridge, pallet fork bridge - this is a real hodgepodge...
The third and fourth digit of the serial look like they have been worked on to hide the real number that was on bridge..most likely one of the single bridges sold on ebay. let me check my archive of single bridges sold. will be back.
...man, that sounds like an excellent list to publish/keep up to date...on a website somewhere (nudge nudge hint hint wink wink)
