Wave dial on seamaster diver 300m is coming back but I don't think that is what these videos are referring to. Omega usually uses lasers to engrave into their ceramics. Check the Omega YouTube videos on how they make the DSOTM pieces and ceramic/liquidmetal bezels.
And since Basel is just days away, I'm gonna play spoiler on what I do know! Lol
DSOTM Speedmaster Professional, new 1869 movement with moon like patterns on bridges, sort of a skeleton look.
FOIS panda, red second hand, pulsometer bezel. I like the look on this one!
I'll stop there.... it'll all be official in a few days

I believe the first utilization of Liquidmetal by Omega was its use on the bezel and dial of the limited edition PO. So the laser could be in play for making the wave dial.

haha! I like the pulsometer! I probably wouldn't use it much anyways but way more useful than a tachymeter bezel these days. its just different and I like different :)

You guys are all wrong... clearly "they" is referring to "reasonable Planet Ocean dimensions". Omega will use a high powered laser to shave off 4 mm of case thickness.

I was so wrong! The videos are for laser engraved wave patterns.
    That would be great!

Just posted – slightly better look at the pattern. Doesn't really look like waves, unless it's really zoomed in...

cryptic. I've reached out to a few insiders to see what they'll tell me. Most likely the answers will be "wait and see"

Possibly new style of wave pattern on the 300 diver dial. Top left and lower left may be a openings for applied 7 & 8 hour markers?

FFS, it was said in this very thread that Omega utilizes lasers for etching their Liquidmetal tech, and then I reminded everyone that this tech was previously applied to dials in the form of the first LE PO. Then, Omega posts a laser making squiggly lines on what is clearly a dial (note the little hole at the top left for hand/marker placement) and we STILL have people not sure what this "THEY ARE BACK" promo means? Seriously?

I know it's a joke but I can't laugh because it's what we actually all want

well, I hope many of you will like the new Diver 300M. there will be at least 3 different styles in stainless, 3 in a gold/stainless combo, a titanium and I believe a ceramic version too. I will say that I did not like the gold/stainless combo (esp the gold on the diver bracelet *yuck*) and the titanium is questionable too. few more days and it will all be official

All of this incorrect speculation is amusing. There will be LE Speedmaster that ships with a laser blaster.
