Dear Masters, I would like to request your opinion on the following:
Is this possible to have a watch that mentions 145012-67 in its case whilst hosting cal861?
Many thanks for your help.

No.

Most likely a replacement case back or movement.

I can't make out the serial number. What is it?

Well it has mis-matched parts and either it's a -67 with the wrong movement and bracelet, or it's a -69 or -71 with the wrong dial, bezel and hands.

Condition is very poor so it's value as parts.

it has to be a jumble of parts in some fashion. as mentioned a 32m movement corresponds to a 145.022-69, which would have a painted omega logo.

as your dial has an AML (applied metal logo) it is one of two things: 1. a fairly rare AML from a 145.022-68, which was a one off year transitional old style dial from the 321 speedies placed on the first year of 861. or 2. a 321 dial with repositioned and reshaped feet.

the chronograph second hand is from earlier 321 model watches, as is the mentioned pre-moon caseback.

the DON bezel, isn't usually seen on later year production 145.022-69 (32m serial numbers).

what's the history of the watch? is it a family heirloom? it's not a collector's dream, but there's no reason you can't just wear it and enjoy it as it is. have it serviced and let it keep time as intended.

correct, i don't think i implied it was a '68. the AML '68 would be retrofitted to the 32m movement.
2655Xxxx - 27Xxxxx (or i've pretty sure some one stated they had a 28M 145.022-68 ?)

ok thks for your advise. U r right I can keep it as is even this is not a masterpiece but I can feel the long journey and see signs of the time. There is no history of what has happened, how the events to unfold and that have shaped it this way.
