Got a full set of modern broadarrow hands left over from when i made a “replica” of the broadarrow Speedmaster (34940.50, i think) Mine using watchco parts.

I think it was a spare cal 861Speedmaster case and movement i used but can’t actually remember.

Question is, when I’m going to sell these, can i advertise them as fitting both calibres or do I need to try and find out which particular one it was?

correct model i was “making” below

I believe that the hands will fit both calibres, the 321 and any variants of the 861.

Yes. The posts on the 321 are the same as for the 861/1861. These hands will also fir on other movements based on the 861, so the 865, 911, 866. Of course some of these calibers also have other hands on them besides these 6.

The 3861 breaks this pattern, so unlike the previous movements, the 3 subdial hands have the same sized posts.

Hi Al, this is very interesting. So for a 321 out 861/1861, the individual subdials have different diameter hands? Meaning that a 6 o’clock hour recorder subdial hand would not fit onto the 9 o’clock running seconds dial post?
