Hallo friends,
in some threads the question of the value of the massive gold of an Omega 18k with bracelet comes up.
Here I give a few Constellation exemples that easily can be extended to other models;
Great post @kfranzk
The bottom pic is possibly the most useful of all of them.
Do you have one with the crystal, crown, movt and none-gold dial (and furniture)?
This would allow anyone with a none-deluxe, automatic gold watch to approximate the weight of their case.

Sorry no, those are from my watchmaker...
But you have here the C-shape with white dial, the case only and movement with crystal and stem.. so you can substract the weights. Ok, I cant see wether the movement is including dial.

Nice, thanks. I have wondered about the weight of the 5xx movement on those.
Here are Omega dials 3x gold 18k and 1 non gold for comparison.
The plastic bag is tared but 0g.
The kitchen scale is not too sensitive, but roughly 4g per 18k dial and 2g for a non gold is exact enough.
