Well, bit of a turn around...
Not surprisingly considering our proximity, I'm getting the same thing.

Looks like you got more snow so far, as if often the case. It all comes down to where exactly those streamers of snow are coming down from Lake Huron...sometimes they don't come as far South as we are. Amazing how much difference a 20 minute drive can make.

Unfortunately my wife had to go into work today, so a typical 45 minutes turned into well over an hour drive.

Still snowing here, so I'll be out there again later I'm sure.

Tested out the new snowblower today...

Love mine. This, snow tires, and a wood splitter were the best purchases I made up in the mountains.

Yeah, wood splitters are a big help, but sometimes the pieces are too large so wedges and a sledgehammer still come out to play on occasion.

Is your snowblower battery operated?

Yes, it uses two 56v batteries. Mostly use it to clear a large back deck so the square footage I'm dealing with is pretty well set and I like if for keeping the weight down on the deck.

We looked at that one, but ended up going with a gas powered blower. We have an Ego push mower (self-propelled) and like it very much.

Has the cold affected the battery life?

This is my fourth or fifth season with this blower and I haven't observed any detectable degradation in battery life. When not in use, I keep the batteries stored inside, so they're only dealing with the cold when they're actually in the blower and running. And I'd say I'm running through a full charge and recharge cycle maybe 3-4 times a month on average for maybe 4 months a year.

73 F

again

It gets boring after a while
73 freedom degrees equals 23 commie degrees.

Here all the snow is melting in the rain, the roads are covered in wet ice. Sure 23 degrees gets boring. 😀

I’m in Maryland and this best describes our weather

So the weather prediction is that they predict that there will be some weather...........exactly what the nature of that weather will be remains to be seen, but there will definitely be some weather! 🤣

Went to the hardware store today, good to get out and enjoy the weather, it's a pleasant 21ºC.
Tomorrow we'll have a high of 40ºC, glad I went today.
