Sunny, no wind, temp about 80 F here in central TX, got the Triumph Trident rolled out of the garage and going for a couple hour ride to clear the mind.
Later...great three hour ride, plenty of bikers, saw just one deer loping across the road. But change coming, 32 F Monday morning. Constantly changing from heat to a/c in the house.

Amazing. In Southern Maine it's 10F and there's a breeze. . .
Maeve took a tumble this morning on the ice and was not happy about it, so at lunch she had to have her boots put on to help her get some grip. She was clearly not a fan...

And to make matters worse, she had to have her picture taken.

I'd sleep with one eye open for awhile.
Make sure you hide the camera / phone well, otherwise you'll find it chewed up beyond all recognition in order to get rid of the embarrassing pic.......indeed now you've posted on the net your computer may also be in danger!
Bloody hot here in Melbourne........43C and windy!
Bushfire weather, there are plenty here in Victoria (other states are under treat too) most small (could easily get out of control) and some big there are 3 people missing including a child, and homes and property lost, spare a thought for the poor bloody live stock and wildlife too!
No doubt some of these will've been deliberately lit, by evil bastards who should get some of their own back by being burnt at the stake!
There will've been others due to lightening strikes, When a fire get big enough in this weather it sets up it's own weather system, drawing oxygen in and fanning the flames along, the airflow also has convection currents which can cause lightening strikes which in turn ignite more fires!
Fighting them is like playing a game of whack a mole! whilst you dealing with one spotfire more are starting all over the place!
I did over 10 years as a CFA (Country Fire Authority) volenteer firefighter and another 2 as professional summer fire crew for what was then the Forrestry Commission.
I'm too old and decrepid to do this these days, it's a youngman's game.
I'm out of harms way where I live so no need to worry about me........most of you wouldn't wcare about a miserable old bastard like me anyway, 🤣 but we should all feel for those under threat both people and the poor bloody animals.
A rare snow day here in Staffordshire, UK. Son's at home as we aren't sure on what's happening with nursery being open or not, and the roads don't look particularly enticing anyway (Britain doesn't cope with snow very well). Luckily I am able to WFH. Thinking about all of those that need to go out in this for whatever reason.
We had a bit of a turn around too. A week ago it was -17C and sunny, now it is raining. Winters in Norway have been changing like this since global warming hit.
Enough snow to make a three humped camel of the cover.
