Saw these little fellers sticking their noses out on my way to get the morning paper. High today should be 65. Going to the outdoor batting cage with the grandson. Hope I can grind the arthritis out of the shoulder after a long winter.

Where do you live .. seems like Westin...I live in Fort Lauderdale..and yes winters in South Florida are one of the best times to visit anywhere in the US...You don't like south Florida otherwise ?

Is that on the beach North of Maquarie Heads car park?

We walked all the way up the beach and got caught in a huge storm in our ordinary walk clothes. Didn't even try to run, just walked through pelting rain and wind all the way back. It was great to taste nature like that.

You got it Jim, was a bit windy to go too far. Got wet during a down pour on the rainforest walk at the People's Park in town. You can see how the waterfall was pumping.....

Rain....7 inches in 12 hours. First photo is a sleepy little creek on my property that has been dry due to the drought until recently. Second shot is the river in town, apparently hasn't flooded but I have never seen it so high.

Today on NC Ohio it was in the 60's again. First time I ever had green ice on the pond. At least it's supposed to be ice this time of year. The fat fellow sitting on the dock should not be out this early.

You are missing out on Storm Doris back home which is apparently a weather bomb bringing 80 mph winds and lots of rain so you think they could have chosen a slightly more apt name (sorry if I have offended anyone called Doris on the forum)
