Do you have the part number by any chance?
Sorry, it doesn't appear on my invoice, however the OB was able to find it quickly on their computer from Omega, a call to your nearest OB should be able to get the number or the clasp kit, as they verified it was in stock. If it indeed comes within the 2 weeks they promised, I'll get the number from the packaging and post it here. Perhaps someone else on this forum already has the item number and will jump in with it. My invoice lists it as "Stainless Steel Comfort Clasp for Omega reference 310.30.42.50.01.002"
Was notified by the OB that there have been some delays, should have the clasp kit in late May, apparently there has been tremendous demand for them. OB indicated that the Sapphire Sandwich with the upgraded bracelet and the new clasp is their best seller. After wearing mine daily for almost 2 years, it's a delight.

I did this upgrade, as soon as I seen the chronoscope clasp in my AD I found the part numbers and ordered it. The old clasp was unusable on a holiday in Thailand as my wrists would swell and shrink during the day. It now has the perfect amount of adjustment for me

Is the earlier 3861 bracelet still available for those preferring the longer clasp and non micro adjust?

Any part number or info would be helpful. Thanks

I'd wager that most, if not all OB's will have a stack of earlier clasps from those of us who are choosing to upgrade to the new clasp.

Unlikely because OBs always return the original to the owner. They have pretty strict policies and controls. Similar to when you send your watch in for service with Omega. You get all your old parts back.

I guess that makes sense, still, there will possibly more than a few sitting in little plastic zip-loc bags that should be available for sale from the original owner who will probably be willing to part with it fairly reasonably.

Speedmaster-Bracelet-2023-03922.jpg
Since the end of last November, the Omega Speedmaster Professional 310.30.42.50.01.001 (Hesalite) and 310.30.42.50.01.002 (sapphire) models have been leaving the production facility in Bienne with a long-awaited bracelet upgrade with an easy-adjustment clasp. It was long-awaited because, when the current Speedmaster Moonwatch was introduced in early 2021, it was one of the few critiques that […]

Right is the newer one, it has a longer clasp to hide the extension. To me the original one looks better, but people feel they need the couple of mm's of adjustment. The original is fine for me, I don't need to ever adjust a steel bracelet once it is sized.

Same here - I don’t understand the need to adjust the bracelet every day …

People don’t adjust it every day. Maybe you never travel or like to wear a really loose bracelet. Many people like to wear a snug but not tight bracelet yet their wrists expand when traveling, being more active, change in elevation, etc. Without the comfort adjustment, this is problematic. Hence, most of the original Speedy bracelets had flex to them. Not sure why this is so difficult to understand.

It’s nice for everyday wear too. Mine goes from too loose sliding up and down my wrist when I’m sedentary at my desk to choking my wrist if I get the blood moving and swell up. I would use it daily and am interested in the new clasp. I don’t get why some can’t just acknowledge people have different needs and let it go at that.

I would adjust it throughout the day, every day. Without the adjustment, my bracelet is snug in the morning and loose flopping around in my wrist by the afternoon.

I'd gladly trade my original for the quick adjust. As soon as the new clasp (and connecting link) is available by itself, without the bracelet, I'm snagging one.

Is there anywhere to purchase the clasp besides an a AD? My AD keeps saying that the part is not yet available for some reason.

I don’t think so. I asked at an OB about a month and a half ago and he had never heard of the new clasp kit. He also said Omega is poor at communicating these things and he has discovered new parts/products by accident while scrolling through the system. I’m assuming the rollout will be slow so I’m just being patient.

To me the big variable is the season. In the winter, I don't need to adjust it. In the summer, I need either to adjust it, or wear a watch with a leather or rubber band.

I was able to order the adjustable clasp this morning by phone from swatch group parts in NJ:

… and some want to have a small elegant clasp and not the big one with an option that they never use 😗 People complain about the increased salesprice of the Speedy and want to have all these new things at the same time. The Speedy survived 60 years without that. … luckily the Apollo11 50th Anni Monnshine is not in the line of products that want to make everybody happy with a 14mm and not easy adjustable clasp. But to everyone it’s one 😀

Hi everyone, I have another related question: Has Omega indicated any update of the 321 steel bracelet clasp as well? The 321 Canopus Gold version has an easy adjustment system which the steel version does not have so far. I couldn't find anything on the topic yet but maybe you know more 😀

Would also love to know the answer to this question as I have the 321 bracelet mounted on my FOIS.
