No more comment and information on the double case back references?
In most case backs its not 168. vs 166., but 004 vs. .014, or .005 vs. .006 or .009 vs. .017...
Shows the latter of the pairs the deLuxe version?
- My 168.0059 has an EoA saying BA 168.0852, isnt that odd?
- While the EoA of my 168.0057 really says BA 168.0057.
- My 168.045 has also 368.845 in the 18k case back.
Any deeper knowledge?
Konrad

I own a solid gold Omega watch with the inner caseback stamped “168005/6 SC-62”. It also features a Helvetia head hallmark, as shown in the attached image. I would appreciate it if someone could clarify the meaning and significance of these markings. Thanks!

Hello - read the first post in this thread to get most of the information you want about the caseback inscriptions. Also, "SC" = Seconds Centrals i.e. sweep seconds hand; and the head of Helvetia signifies an 18kt item assayed in Switzerland.
More interestingly, you might want to look at this thread when looking at your dial: no question, it's a very special look - but it seems there's debate about how many real ones there might actually be. Most of the people who might actually know are on that thread and you might want to show them yours.

Thanks a lot, much appreciated.
