This is s lovely watch, and to me seems like a great deal and a great value. There seems to be either a lack of demand or oversupply of 69 speedmasters this year. I picked up a very nice one from Kaplan’s in June for just under 6k as well. There are thousands of collectors and dealers looking to pay over 10k for a 50th anniversary model, but only a few of us die hard Speedy guys that will pay 6k for a very nice original 69 model.

Luckily (for you) my higher bid did not go through as eBay had decided out of the blue to kindly re-set my password, so my auction sniper was not able to put the bid through....
