IMG_0402.jpeg IMG_0408.jpeg IMG_0401.jpeg IMG_0265.jpeg As many watch enthusiasts would say, the Dial is the soul of the Watch. I am a huge lover of Blue Dial Watches; there’s just something so mesmerizing about Blue Dial watches .. from Seiko Presage Line’s SRPB41 Blue Moon which started my Watch collecting journey to OMEGA Aqua Terra 38.5mm’s SkyFall which was my first High End Watch.. and then when I caught a glance of Vacheron Constantin’s Blue OverSeas 4500V in person .. there has yet to be another occasion in which I am that mesmerized by a Blue Dial watch.. until recently.. when OMEGA announced their Summer Blue Seamaster 300M Diver.
This Summer Blue Divers 300M; I will nickname BlueBerry is easily in my top 5 for best blue dial watches of all time! The way the shades of blue plays with the light/angle is lovely!

I like it!! Are the indices white or light blue? (Some say BlueBerry blue.) Same question for the numbers on the bezel.

the bezel numbers & indices are light blue; I preferred the indices and numbers on bezel to be white, but after some time with the watch; I think it makes sense that it's light blue

It is a gorgeous dial for sure, and those pictures are equally spot on - VERY nicely done. Makes me wonder (along with some other choice dial work the past 1-2 years) if there have been some changes at Omega, or more broadly Swatch, on the dial side of the house.

hi

It looks really good. I was tempted myself but have the 60th Anniversary Bond watch and it is very close to that. That said, your photos are tempting me once more. :(

That is absolutely gorgeous. One of my watches I love wearing in the fall is this brown and rose gold aqua terra gmt. Just like your blue dial compliments the summer so well, I feel that this watch compliments the fall so well. 20200731_132704-01.jpg

I did not mean to hit REPLY above. Anyway, that new blue looks great! Even the old blue white indices looks nice IMO. I was purchasing the (pictured above) rubber strap / deployant clasp for my white DIVER 300M and made the mistake of trying on the orange / white PLANET OCEAN. Undoubtedly my next purchase. Back on topic blue dials (Especially OMEGA blue dials.) look VERY NICE!!

That planet ocean is a gem; not much watches with orange accents works... the orange accents on the planet ocean works so well!

In my opinion; the Spectre 300 and the OG 2531.80 will forever be the best looking bond watch. I think if you've already own one or both of those; you won't need the 60th anniversary.

I am always intrigued by rose gold watches; and not just fall I think that watch suits all seasons, very gorgeous indeed!

They definitely changed their Dial specialist or had a change of game plan. As you've said and I've noticed it too; the dials on recent models have been top notch! Now if only they could slim down the watchcase to 12mm or under and bring back the midsize 36-38mm for the Divers 300 and Heritage line up it be the dream!

I picked up mine last Tuesday. Haven’t stopped wearing it since. Beyond my expectations in every way. My Black Bay 58 blue has been in the box since.

Great pictures! Thank you for sharing.
Even so.. the pictures does not do the watch any justice. You NEED to see it in person!

I have! I picked up a Heritage Summer Blue just a few days ago. Love the tone and gradient of summer blue on both the SMP and the heritage especially!
