I was thinking about getting rid of my seamaster cosmic 2000 and getting a James bond model is there a market for them? Thank you.

I think so. Vintage is making more of a comeback right now, and certainly vintage 'size' watches in general.

Cosmic 2000, for whatever reason, are not that desirable a model range for collectors. Perhaps it's the funny case, or maybe the 10xx movement, or the 1970s styling. There's a market, sure, but they tend to be on the lower-priced end of the spectrum. Depends on model, condition etc but the contribution to your future Bond Seamaster may be lacklustre.

Personally, I'd keep the Cosmic and save a bit more for the new watch...but then again, I like Cosmic 2000s.

I am looking for pair of endlinks if somebody should have them. Omega item 026ST676 or just 676 😀

Here is my recently acquired Cosmic. Shame the caseback was polished but otherwise looked great to me. Movement 1012. Thoughts?

Looks nice 😀
Has the movement been serviced?
not that I know. It looked in pretty good shape to me though. planning on getting it as some point. It is running well, just fast. + 4 seconds every 4 hours

Movement looks a little tired. It would benefit from service, that would hopefully sort out accuracy too, although +24s/day is not bad for ~50yr old watch.
