When that ends, I'm going to have to start thinking seriously about paring down my collection to a much smaller number of "core" watches to wear in retirement.

Nothing's stopping you from wearing those same dress watches. I wear mines with a T-shirt around the house (even the gold ones).

You're right.

I'm wearing dress watches around the house, even doing light chores in them, including the gold ones. The same watches were once part of my office attire.

Yep, it's a new world. When I work from home, I switch watches 2-3 times during the day. One for the morning, one for the afternoon, and another one for the evening.
