OF (unless I’ve missed it in my searches) lacks a thread where people drop in, say good morning, good afternoon, yo peeps, what’s happening, etc…

The OF Clubhouse gives a landing spot where all the pleasantries and interactions between folks from around the world occur. People can just gather and drop by to say hello, inquire about others, give jovial grief to friends, and other what nots. This place abounds with great people and great advice. This will only be as good as you give.

Might be a great way for members to get to know and keep up with others without creating a new thread or PM.

I’ll start with a hearty good afternoon/evening to all from the southern Appalachians! Hope everyone is healthy and happy!

That would be fun, I think. I'm on reddit a lot, and enjoy the subs with daily threads where all the low-key conversation that isn't worthy of its own thread can go.

Lego no pants ftw!

I was laying around watching Godzilla cartoons with my kid today and realized that a Tudor lume shot didn't seem right anymore.

With my dubious amount of horological knowledge and growing pile of cheap Seikos, the Hanna-Barbera Godzilla making a surprised face just seemed like the right way to go.

The main WRUW thread kinda does that already. People post what they're up to, say their greetings, or share a little about their watch.

Maybe? the "FTFY" tag (Fixed that For You) implies that an edit has been made to the post though. I can't speak for everyone but when I see "FTFY" on the internet I instantly check the initial post, to see what change has been made (normally these are made in jest for humor).

Just got done at the store picking up stuff to make some tomatillo salsa- might grill up some burgers on the BGE and caramelize some onions in cast iron and have a... sortof southwestern style burger with caramelized-grilled onions, tomatillo-jalapeno salsa, BBQ sauce, and ranch dressing.

Hope everyone's Sunday before President's day is going well.

Shoot that reminds me, this is the weekend to trim my rose bushes back so that I can get some wildly beautiful flowers this season.
