Bought one with the blue metallic dial in the Bay some years ago and gifted it to my daughter. Watch is in beautiful vintage condition with GF ladder. She sent me this pic today. Best
If it's the one I'm thinking of and was bought from the UK then it had the dial replaced. The original dial(again if it's the one I'm thinking of) had a IMO beautiful mottled dial where the blue had faded out to a brown eggshell effect. The seller had it replaced with a NOS dial.
Thanks! That is a question I really can't answer precisely, but for about 15 years I believe. My "first" was the white dial one. My latest is a Red A 3691 (not pictured) that is at my watch maker for maintenance bought this year!
Here is my new Zenith Defy, reference unknown. It has cal. 2552. Indeces and hands are different than on 'normal' Defy. Dial is beautiful white that is more more like champaigne.
Do you guys think this is a mod? I only see 7681 on the barrrel case with khaki dial and white minute counter. The guy is selling this as original dial
I’d say it looks original. However, I have mainly seen orange lume on the seconds hand before. I have exactly that model myself.
That’s good to know. Yours is same dial, case and seconds marker? Mind sharing a pic? Anyone know what model number is this. The lume might just have faded
Thanks. Yours is a7681 with white seconds ring. Mine is grey seconds ring which makes me think the dial is taken from an octagonal defy.
Yes, ref. 7681 has khaki dial with white minute counter. If this is real, then it should have another reference number. I haven't seen this kind of Defy before. I'd say it has a dial taken from octagonal Defy.
