I would say "if you don't want it broken, have it serviced before you have to fix something" but to each his own. It's worth the $100-ish to insure my purchase.

Just out of interest, what are your main rotation wear pieces?

4 modern ones of late - speedmaster 9300, de ville hourvision, rolex turnograph and mkii LRRP. For the vintage ones I usually wear one of the piepan gold connies or the late 60s early 70s seamaster chronometres either cal. 564 or 751.

Interesting, the Hour Vision is my favorite of the time only models in the current Omega lineup, the design is very unique and really shows off the Cal 8500 movement

I've seen Mike's black dial and a blue dial in person and they're both very cool dials. 馃憤
