Look, I hate to admit it, but the little-known fact that anyone with over 10,000 likes received is paid $0.01 by the forum owners for each like given also promotes activity. 😁
So that's how @Alpha can buy all the nice watches he has!

Beagle power 😎

In my case I’m pretty sure at least 6,998 of the likes i received were actually for my cats so I’m not sure where that leaves me

14) The bad like - when someone posts something sad, like a death notice, but you're not happy by liking it

Probably hovering in the background with a hair brush for fur combing in one hand, and a pooper scooper for litter box duty in the other... 😁

15) The Solidarity Like. In recognition of a person’s love of a watch they’re wearing— even if I personally find it repulsive. What I “Like” is their enthusiasm for watches and the joy that a particular watch seems to give them. This is the motive behind at least half the Likes I give.

Likes are one thing, but if you want to considered top of the pile in OF circles then you really need to be awarded a tagline under your profile name. I think Ulackfocus handed those out. Gone but not forgotten.

Do we have the, “I started this thread, so it’s my obligation to “like” any remotely palatable comment made on the thread” like?

The “anti-like”: when you have a tiff with someone, and later/elsewhere they make a good comment you want to like but don’t out of principle
