My first Longines after a long love affair with Omega and Rolex. I sleep with this one...as smitten as smitten gets.
Are you sure the Timegrapher was turned on?? Lol. Seriously, I love the dial. It has some design cues that remind me of a Sinn or Stowa, but it has its own look. I like the polished case too. My wife has been asking me what I want for Christmas, may have to send her a link!
Great piece. I had one of the earlier variants and really enjoyed it. Got totally hooked on spinning that concentric bezel and found it a very flexible watch across all kinds of settings.
Longines Legend Diver ('LLD' as it is affectionately known) Originally I was looking for a vintage example from the 60s....wowza $. I can see why they re-released this model.
Looking to get the 36mm version for my wife. I've seen it in person and really like it. Hope she will as well!
I think the 36mm super compressors are a spectacular size. I know the larger ones are more coveted and in line with modern sizing, but I am very happy with 36mm Titus.
That is a great looking piece. What's the lug to lug? I tried on the full-size version when it came out and the overhang was huge on my 6.5" wrist
Mesh bracelets work really well on the LLD in general. I have one that I wear on mine occasionally. Not sure. If the proportions are the same I would guess roughly 44-45mm lug-to-lug (I think the full size LLD is 52mm or so).
That is a beauty. Would consider as a "shared" piece between my wife and myself but not sure at all that she'd share it. The 36 LLD is the sweet spot IMO.
