No need to politely and discreetly tip-toe around the question, I’m sure you can just ask him.

@steversaurus thanks for sharing and congrats, the condition looks absolutely spectacular!
Ummm was a simple question!

I think both my watch and @cqing 's watches are in the archive section.
The price was public knowledge and listed on their site at 15k CHF. But for the sake of discretion, I'll say that like most dealers, there is some wiggle room.

Good experience and no surprises. Which isn't a bad thing.
I did read that it was from Davidoff, just didn’t know there was a sold page. Congrats again and thanks for answering. Good to know this for price reference. A straight lug speedy is definitely something I’d like to get down the line.

Sure thing. Endlinks are the 19mm double notch no.6.
and the pushers are the oem fat neck pushers!
Very nice watch indeed!

Cheers

Fast forward to last year; I decide to revisit getting a Speedmaster to commemorate a milestone. At the time, I refined the search to a 105.012-65. I found a nice unpolished -65 from @ndgal. Bank wire sent / received and waited for Fedex. As luck would have it, the package goes missing. Sigh.

So that was your watch. I remember when Ndgal posted that the watch went missing in the mail. It was a stunning watch.

You've managed to find another stunning watch to replace it, one that may be even harder to find in this condition.

I notice no one is fool hardy enough to call dibs. It's a keeper.

Great watch with nice lume patina. Congratz. You will do something with the stretch links?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I still wonder what could have been with that 105.012-65. I hope the Fedex employee that has it, appreciates it.

It's interesting, prices do seem to have softened a bit in the last year. But yes, I would agree, finding an Ed White with a good dial is much more difficult than the professional pre-moons.

@harrymai86 is there a way to fix the stretch links?

And yes, I'll get around to posting those crowns lol.

What a gorgeous example! Congrats!

Do you plan on continuing to go down the Omega road and buying more vintage ones, or are you getting interested in something else?
