I'm terrible with the thread drift... but some things just have to be shared. Ladies and gents, if you're unfamiliar with Refika's youtube channel, she's a total delight, and I can say her hummus recipe is amazing (as in super easy, and incredibly tasty)
We've made a LOT of hummus since she published this video!

Thanks a lot for recommending this channel, it鈥檚 great! That hummus recipe is just EXCELLENT. Definitely one of my favourite now! 馃憤馃憤

Regular for us to make a Mead style bread and enjoy with a beer and cheese.

I usually take it with corned beef on several day fishing trips.


Incidentally........Love a beer bread, IPA with grated cheese and onion in the mix - highly recommended for a ham or beef sandwich.

Also a bottle of Cider rather than beer is great for cheese toasties.

Like many others, I tried baking bread during the pandemic, some of it OK, some of it not quite so OK.

I'll join in the fun. Bagels that turned out splendid.

Share with me your secret, I made OK bagels, but they flatten out shortly after cooling off. Mine did not look that good. Tasted pretty good, though a bit dense.
