Hi Ian. Nice avatar. I like Bruce Willis - we go to the same barber. 😜

Thanks Dennis,

I reckon I still pass for a Nineties Bruce 🤩
Really, I've still got a crush on Milla Jovovich as Leeloo Dallas Multipass from that movie (Fifth Element), hence the avatar.

Say "Yo" to Bruce for me when he's next in for a polish 😉

New here but not to watches. Long time Omega enthusiast and I recently returned to the brand after about a year with a 2534.50 GMT. I'm an air traffic controller and pilot so I use the GMT/Zulu function daily.

Thanks for having me!

I found this forum while looking for information on a Constellation belonging to my father. I'm not a collector and would like to find someone that would enjoy it rather than sitting in a box. I think he bought it in the late 70's or early 80's. Would I post something in the modern section or the vintage section? It is a gold Omega Constellation Automatic brushed finish. Appreciate your help.

That would go in vintage.

Welcome!

Greetings fellow Omega lovers,

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm David and I've been a silent member on here for a wee while but I've already spotted some familiar faces from my other "homes," TZ-UK and WUS. I'm based in Edinburgh, work as an IT manager and have had an interest in watches for more years than I care to recount.

My current collection contains a 16610 Sub, a number of Eddie Platt's excellent homages, several G-Shocks and of course a Speedy Pro. I did succumb to a PO 8500 last year and while a gorgeous watch, I sadly found it too large and heavy for my rather puny wrists. Its demise did however allow me to top up my savings and purchase my current favourite watch, a 3750.50 from 2007.

I'm on a self-imposed buying ban this year banging.gif but that makes the anticipation of the next one all the keener - top of the list is an Aqua Terra Co-axial Ref 2503.50.000 - now discontinued but still out there.

So I hope to be able to join in the Omega fun, on what looks to be an excellent forum, not only in terms of the membership and their contributions but also the exceptional design of the site and application of the forum software.

Cheers

David

Thank you both!
love on how you can highlight the tiny Omega symbol on surface of hesalite. It's like floating.

Hello, I'm Mohamed from Bahrain, currently spending half the year in Dundee and the other back home.

I have been into watches all my life, and own a rather large collection which I shall now attempt to size down to a few, meaningful pieces.
