Geezer watch is Mike Nouveau and Phil Toledano (Misterenthusiast) slang for typically a small, precious metal watch, often with an integrated bracelet and an unusual case shape, sometimes with a stone dial or with gems. Think 70's and 80's Piaget or certain Pateks. Bracelet is often some kind of braided metal or woven mesh. Seems to have trended on tiktok and now I see it on instagram a lot. Does anyone here like these?? Doesn't sound like it

Whether I personally like these or not is irrelevant to the conversation.

The fact is that younger people are rediscovering these forgotten designs This is a good and healthy thing for watch collecting.

Although it will be very strange to see four-figure prices on plastic TI digital watches, it just may happen someday.

Disclaimer - my humble 2c opinion remains my own : I haven’t seen a Geezer watch in this thread yet! I think this is what the OP is on about…

My feed has been absolutely lit with such oddities…

Wish I still had these. Gold one was my graduation present, got stolen. I wore the Bond seiko until it disintegrated.

As a guy with a skinny 6.5 inch wrist, this trend seems tailor made for me. I've tried on 2 geezer watches, a Piaget and one crazy diamond and yellow gold monstrosity and the bracelets both fit me perfectly. Panerai on the other hand is just impossible

Then most anything prior to 1965 is probably right up your alley. Most of the US military watches from WWII- Vietnam are 30-33mm, perfect for the slender wristed. No need to dip into one of the tackiest eras of watchmaking for small wrists.
