Needs case refinishing, "sunburst" finishing was screwed. Sand paper in circular motion was used by previous owner to minimize some "nicks".

Reminds me of that one guy a few months back who found his dads (or gramps, can’t remember) 105.012 on some funky hippy bangle-acelet and then proceeded to cluelessly open it. When asked how he got it opened (as there were fresh idiot marks) he replied : “I used a hammer, a screwdriver and my fingers” (Which I DIBS as the text under my avatar if I ever earn enough brownie points for text under my avatar)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh! Why did I open this thread. I've wanted an original unpolished 911 for a long time and keep managing to miss them when they come up. After posting a WTB on TZ-UK I was offered a fully restored one and a polished one. And then spent my money on a Speedy 125.

Zholobov clearly wore an Omega Flightmaster on his left forearm in addition to his wrist watch...

I don't have the Flightmaster Only book yet but I wonder if the best Flightmaster & Speedmaster photo ever made it into the book...
Of course I do have all Russian crewphotos involving Omega watches of any kind 😁
